Directional kūṭa
The eight kūṭas with their direction kept, and the layers the specification puts around them — the traditional porutham markers, each chart’s own relationship capacity, where the two charts touch, timing, and a research matrix that can never move the classical total.

What this tab computes, and what it does not
All six phases of the specification are implemented:
- Phase 1 — source-faithful core — Moon–Moon Aṣṭakūṭa under versioned rule packs, with provenance and the 36-point output.
- Phase 2 — the directional and traditional layer — Reciprocal Tārā, directed Vaśya, lord attitudes and ordered Bhakūṭa; then Mahendra, Strī-dīrgha, Rajju, Vedha, Moon Aṣṭakavarga reciprocity, Kakṣā and Aya–Vyaya under the Raman and Praśna Mārga profiles.
- Phase 3 — natal capacity and full-chart links — D1 relationship houses and lords, Parāśari aspects, dispositors, D9 confirmation, Kuja doṣa, Upapada and Dārakāraka.
- Phase 4 — timing — Vimśottarī daśā and transit activation per chart, then the derived mutual readiness.
- Phase 5 — experimental planetary matrix — The 9×9 research view, Grade D, off by default and unable to alter any classical total.
- Phase 6 — outcome research — Versioning, preregistration and the blinded holdout gate. Scaffolding only: there is no outcome dataset, so calibration is not attempted.
- The purpose layer — Seven relationship questions — romance, erotic, friendship, teacher–student, spiritual, business and family — each with its own anchors, its own set-aside markers, a directional emphasis, an evidence boundary and a birth-time setting. It changes what the reading attends to and never what the engine computes; the classical total is identical under all seven, which is asserted by test.
What remains is what the specification itself defers or refuses:
- Tables awaiting a printed edition — Gotra, Vihanga/Pakṣi and Bhūta have no table in the specification's appendix, and the 88th/108th Moon-Navāṃśa rule is not yet transcribed. §6 asks for a named source before these carry any weight, so they are absent rather than reconstructed.
- Two-person verification of the transcribed tables — The Moon bhinnāṣṭakavarga table passes its 49-bindu checksum but is not yet checked against a printed edition, and the rule packs carry the same standing caveat.
- Calibration — Phase 6's machinery is built — fingerprinting, preregistration, a by-couple holdout split and a gate that refuses weight changes without replication — but no outcome dataset exists, so no weight here has been calibrated and none pretends to be a probability.
- The optional Western comparison layer (§13) — Deliberately not built into this page. Western aspects measure angular separation and Bhakūṭa evaluates ordered whole-sign relationships; §13 forbids mixing their totals.
All-planet kūṭa analogues stay behind the research toggle and stay Grade D: the specification is explicit that Moon–Moon is the classical core, that any planetary analogue is experimental, and that it must never alter a classical total.
